Our team came together to celebrate two incredible people – Dr. Heidi Novack and Dr. Mike Cvetkovic – as they officially closed their chapter with us on October 30th.

Dear Valued Patients and Friends,
 I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Dr. Muizz Merchant. I’m honored to introduce myself as the new owner and dentist at your trusted dental home. It is a true privilege to continue the legacy of compassionate, high-quality dental care that has been the foundation of this practice for so many years.
I received my education from Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (MOSDOH) in Kirksville, MO. My training emphasized clinical excellence and patient-centered care—values that align perfectly with the legacy of this practice.
While I was born in Bombay, India, I’ve spent most of my life here in Illinois. Dentistry has always been a passion of mine, and I am committed to this community. My goal is to get to know each of you, understand your needs, and help you feel at ease every time you walk through our doors.
Outside the office, life is blessed and joyful. My wife, Hiba, and I are raising three amazing boys—an energetic 3-year-old, and our 1-year-old twin boys, who bring double the joy and double the fun. When I’m not practicing dentistry or chasing after little feet, you can find me playing sports, coaching basketball, hiking, or planning our next travel adventure. I believe in building meaningful relationships, whether it's on the court or in the clinic.
I want to reassure you that the faces you’ve come to know and trust will continue to be part of your care. I am working closely with Dr. Novack, Dr. Cvetkovic and the team to ensure a seamless transition. Whether you’re coming in for a routine cleaning or a more involved procedure, you can expect the same attention, honesty, and quality treatment you've always received.
